We’ve put together some commonly asked questions and comments that our customers often have before they purchase our meat online.

1. How much will my fresh meat delivery cost?
Our meat delivery is £4.95 on all orders under £50 and free delivery for orders over this. Orders to the Highlands cost £18.00 & Islands cost £24. Saturday deliveries incur a £20.00 surcharge.

2. When will I get my fresh meat delivery?
Orders received by 1pm will reach you the following day by 5.30pm. See our delivery section for full details. If you request that your order is delivered frozen, then we will add 24hrs to the delivery time.

3. How will my order be packed?
Whether fresh or frozen, your meat order is securely sealed and vacuum-packed individually and delivered in temperature controlled polystyrene cool-boxes. So you can rest assured that when you buy our meat online you will receive it in the best possible condition.

4. Is it safe to send meat through the post?
Definitely. Our packaging uses a temperature controlled cooling system so your meat delivery is kept below 5°C from the time it is cut and prepared until it is delivered to you, so all you receive is fresh meat.

5. What happens if my meat does not arrive?
If your order does not arrive on time please contact our service team on 01633 877777 or e-mail sales@douglaswillis.co.uk weekdays from 8.30-4.30pm and we’ll try our best to assist you.

6. What is the shelf-life of Douglas Willis’ meat?
The minimum shelf-life of ALL our fresh beef, lamb and pork is 6 days. Fresh poultry has a shelf-life of 4 days. If the product is frozen it will have a minimum frozen-life of 3 months and once defrosted should be used within 24 hours.

7. What if I am not happy with my meat?
If for any reason you feel the quality of our fresh meat is not up to the standard you expected we will offer a full refund or replacement. Please refer to the guarantee section of our website which details our promise to you when purchasing our meat online.

8. I’m not sure of the cut I want… Can you help?
Absolutely. Our friendly service team can assist you with any special cuts you require that you may not find listed on our website. You can get in touch on 01633 877777 or by e-mailing sales@douglaswillis.co.uk.

9. Where can I find out cooking advice?
We’ve prepared some further details on how best to cook our fresh meat. Just visit the cooking instructions section.

10. Why won't my SUMMER10% discount code work?
I am afraid we have ended our Summer Special where we were offering 10% off all orders. We are now running an offer that gives you a free pack of Pork & Leek Sauages when you spend over £60.

11. Do you have retail shops I can visit?
Yes. We have two retail shops located just up the road from our farms in Cwmbran, South Wales. With an extensive range of the freshest meat we have we would love you to come along and visit. You can find us at:
